Primary, Maths & Problem Solving School Event

On the 14th November Delta Academies became host for an Imagination Gaming Maths & Problem Solving Event involving all 33 Primary Schools from within the Trust.

Representatives from each school came together for a fun learning event like no other. A day designed to encourage healthy competition and really get the children’s brains working.

With this came plenty of smiles and laughter proving that Maths can be lots of fun!

There was a buzz of excitement that filled the room with the occasional whoop of joy as children worked hard to calculate the correct answers to some tricky questions.

At Imagination Gaming, we work primarily with schools all across Yorkshire and the Midlands, delivering innovative classroom workshops that aim to bring children and young people away from their screens and encourage learning through kinesthetic play.

Using a wide range of exciting table-top and front of class activities we EngageEnthuse and Educate ALL ages and abilities whilst encouraging the application of core skills which they learn everyday at school.

It was an absolute pleasure to run an event of this scale, bringing a large number of students and teachers together for an interactive, highly energetic and fun learning experience.

We received such wonderful feedback from the event…

“What a wonderful, engaging event, that challenged pupils’ reasoning and problem solving skills”

“Our ‘mini-maths teachers’ can’t wait to start their new maths club with these games”

“The ‘covert’ learning was really accessible for the children even those whom may otherwise be daunted by maths”

Thank you for everyone who was part of this event, if you have any thoughts, questions or comments, or simply wish to investigate further then please send us an email at nicola@imaginationgaming.co.uk
