Company Days
Team building days
Our Team building days provide a unique and distinctive experience, to ensure all the team are included, whatever their interests and abilities of all of the participants. For example, if the group includes a mix of introverted and extroverted individuals, our activities allow both types of personalities to shine.
We do team building that doesn’t feel like team building, with great team building exercises, that are a lot of fun.
We tailor activities to the specific needs of the group and provide experienced facilitators to ensure the activities run smoothly and are engaging for the participants, encouraging lots of laughing and cheering together, creating memorable and meaningful moments for the group.
Team-building activities and games boost morale, break down barriers, and create a supportive and pleasant environment to work in.
Collaboration in Action Board games provide an ideal platform for nurturing teamwork and collaboration. They require players to communicate effectively, strategise collectively, and make decisions as a team. From working together to solve complex challenges in cooperative games to engaging in friendly competition that fosters healthy camaraderie, board games strengthen the bonds between team members. The shared experience of triumphs, setbacks, and laughter builds trust, encourages open communication, and enhances synergy within the group.
Sharpening the Tools for Success Board games offer a diverse range of opportunities for skill development, which directly translates to the professional realm. Some key skills that can be honed through board games include:
a. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Board games present players with intricate puzzles, complex scenarios, and strategic decision-making. By analysing situations, evaluating options, and adapting strategies on the fly, employees develop their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, essential skills for tackling challenges in the workplace.
b. Decision-Making and Risk Assessment: Board games often involve making choices with uncertain outcomes and evaluating potential risks. Employees learn to assess probabilities, weigh consequences, and make informed decisions within a dynamic environment. These decision-making skills can be invaluable when faced with business dilemmas that require quick thinking and calculated risks.
c. Communication and Negotiation: Effective communication is the cornerstone of any successful team. Board games demand clear and concise communication between players, fostering the exchange of ideas, sharing of information, and active listening. Negotiation skills are also cultivated as individuals strive to achieve their objectives while seeking mutually beneficial outcomes.
d. Adaptability and Resilience: Board games frequently present unexpected twists and turns that require players to adapt their strategies and bounce back from setbacks. These experiences cultivate resilience, flexibility, and the ability to navigate uncertainties—a crucial skill set in today’s ever-evolving business landscape.
Identifying Hidden Talents Board games can serve as a valuable tool for management to assess their teams and identify natural leaders. As employees engage in board game sessions, their leadership qualities often emerge naturally. Observing how individuals strategise, communicate, take initiative, and guide their teammates during gameplay can provide valuable insights into their leadership potential. Identifying these natural leaders can help management make informed decisions when it comes to project assignments, promotions, and leadership development initiatives.
Boosting Employee Morale Corporate events should be enjoyable and provide an opportunity for employees to unwind and recharge. Board games offer a break from the everyday routine, allowing individuals to relax, laugh, and bond with their colleagues in a casual and friendly environment. The immersive and engaging nature of board games creates a positive atmosphere, boosting employee morale and creating lasting memories that employees can cherish.
Conclusion
Board games are a powerful tool for corporate events, offering a unique blend of entertainment, team-building, skill development, and the potential to assess natural leaders within your organisation. At Imagination Gaming, we are committed to providing a memorable experience that enhances teamwork, cultivates essential skills, and fosters a positive work culture. By incorporating board games into your corporate events, you can unlock the untapped potential within your teams, fuel creativity, and elevate your organisation to new heights. Get in touch with us to explore the endless possibilities of board games in transforming your corporate events into unforgettable and transformative experiences.

A Holiday To Remember…
Children can have varied outlooks on the holiday period. For some it is an exciting opportunity to enjoy their time with friends or hobbies, whilst for some it can be – well – uneventful and boring! We have a wealth of experience in holiday activities to satisfy both ends of the spectrum, and clearly recognise the difference in mood and expectation when school is ‘out’. As such it is a fantastic opportunity for us to bring some of the more unusual games and ideas that have that ‘cool factor’.
• Tournaments
• Numeracy & Literacy Based Gaming
• Mad Scientist & Dragon’s Den Workshops
• Story Challenge & Creative Writing
Team-Building Activities
Whether you are running single days or daily provision throughout a summer school, we can mix games and workshops over a number of days to keep everyone occupied, having fun and doing something different. If you are looking to integrate a group of children from different schools, areas or backgrounds, these games are great.
We will have your group mixing, playing and laughing together not just with each other, but crucially with the adults as well.
Have Fun and Make Friends…
Whether you have a specific topic you would like to inject some fun into, are looking to introduce varied groups to something new, reward the children or get something cool for summer school, we can keep them entertained for days with a wealth of activities and an endless supply of games!
Cool cards, intriguing boards, collectible dice and roleplay. Balancing buildings, buying and selling, cunning and stealth, perception and strategy, speed and timing, secrecy and bluff. Throw in some oversized games and creative and competitive workshops and there’s something for everyone.
Ooops, I May Have Learned Something New!…
The best bit about all the games we use, even on days like these, is that the kids (and the adults!) will still be learning.
Every single game we play will, unwittingly, encourage participants to focus on a new skill, stretch their current knowledge and challenge and showcase their social and behavioral skills… They won’t notice – just don’t tell!
What Actually Happens
Every Holiday or Transitional day aims to create a reassuring environment to encourage positive social interaction. We can easily assess your particular requirements and carefully prepare activities that concentrate on breaking down potential barriers quickly and engaging children and staff in fun and challenging games that encourage just the right balance of teamwork and competition to make every day a success. New friendships are formed, existing ones are enhanced and starting the new term is something to look forward to even more!
Holiday and Transitional Activities Include:
• A range of game based activities and workshops to choose from
• Flexible activities to suit range of ages, abilities and numbers on the day
• Sessions throughout the day to suit the timetable
• Optional Afterschool event for families and children available

Holiday Activities and Food Programme
Holiday Activities and Food Programme
Imagination Gaming have been successfully delivering activities as part of the Healthy Holidays Programme since 2021.
The Holiday Activities and Food Programme provides support to children in receipt of free school meals through holiday periods.
We bring a unique games based service to engage children from ages 5-16, entertaining them whilst keeping their minds active ready for a return to school. Our sessions are tabletop in nature but also incorporated in this time are a range of games that require mild physical activity and the use of motor skills, as well as games such as Snap Fit – an action game that will get the attendees up and active.
In addition to playing fun and exciting games attendees are also provided with a healthy lunch. During lunchtime staff will take time to speak to the children and young people about why it is important to eat well and healthily.
We have designed some activity sheets that attendees can complete during this time to reinforce healthy eating in a fun and engaging way.
Research has shown that the school holidays can be pressure points for some families. For some children this can lead to a holiday experience gap, with children from low-income households being:
- Less likely to access organised out-of-school activities
- More likely to experience ‘unhealthy holidays’ in terms of nutrition and physical health
- More likely to experience social isolation
Our ‘learn to play, play to learn’ activity programmes are very popular and our vast compendium of tabletop games means that we have something for all ages and abilities.
Healthy Holiday Clubs can have a positive impact on children and young people and Imagination Gaming are proud to be part of this.

Feedback
Thank you for your email and for accommodating our group for Healthy Holidays.
The group had a wonderful time and was engaged throughout the entire day! The facilitator was amazing with both the children and the staff.
The food served was the healthiest I’ve ever seen at a Healthy Holidays event, catering to all dietary needs. It was impressive to see all the children eat so much without any complaints—truly incredible!
We would love to participate in the project again if funding is available in 2025, as this day offered something unique compared to the more traditional sports days on offer.
Thanks again!

Helping Family Hubs Thrive Through Play - A Partnership with Imagination Gaming
At Imagination Gaming, we believe in the transformative power of play to enhance learning, communication, and well-being. With years of experience in bringing people together through games, we understand how powerful board games, role-playing games, and interactive activities can be, especially in a community setting. That’s why we’re excited to offer our expertise and resources to Family Hubs across the UK.
How We Can Help Your Family Hub?
We know that Family Hubs are essential community spaces that support families with children of all ages, offering everything from early years education to family support services. Imagination Gaming’s approach blends fun with purpose, creating meaningful, enjoyable activities that help families thrive. Here’s what we can do for you:
Our wide selection of board games and facilitated game sessions is designed to foster connection between family members. By providing structured play opportunities, we can help improve communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills within families. Games are a great way to spend quality time together, strengthening relationships and reducing stress.
Drawing on our experience with educational game design, we can create bespoke sessions that support the development of key skills in both children and adults. These activities help improve literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and emotional regulation—skills that are vital for both personal growth and social cohesion.
Our team can tailor programs specifically designed to improve the relationship between parents and children. These activities encourage mutual respect, empathy, and understanding. Through our guided play sessions, parents learn how to support their children’s emotional and cognitive development in a fun and engaging environment.
Games are a great way to break down barriers and create a sense of belonging within local communities. We organise regular community events across venues such as libraries, YMCA’s and so on where families can come together to meet new people, share experiences, and build a supportive network. These events can be a great addition to your Family Hub’s offerings, helping to combat isolation and create stronger, more resilient communities.
Imagination Gaming’s expertise includes running age-appropriate activities for children, teens, and adults. From early years learning to adult-focused support, we can offer a range of activities suited to the specific needs of different age groups. This ensures that every member of the family can benefit from our sessions. We have experience with Dementia groups, Old Folks activities and other community groups across the UK.

Senior Citizen and Dementia Clubs
Senior Citizen and Dementia Clubs
Unlock the joy of connection and cognitive engagement with our engaging board game sessions! We offer a delightful experience where attendees can learn and play a variety of games together, creating memorable moments of fun and companionship.
At our sessions, we recognise the incredible benefits of board games, particularly for the elderly and those experiencing early-stage memory loss. These games not only spark the recall of cherished memories, but also encourage lively conversations, fostering deeper bonds between families, friends, and caregivers.
Research shows that playing board games stimulates key areas of the brain, such as the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex, helping to slow cognitive decline while providing a joyful and interactive outlet. Our sessions transform playtime into an enriching activity that promotes both mental wellness and strong relationships. Join us and share in the laughter and camaraderie—together, we can make a meaningful difference!
