Maths Days

Understanding and applying Maths in a fun and entertaining environment

An absolutely crucial strand of the curriculum for children of all ages, Numeracy (or Maths), is on the timetable almost every day for a decade of their school life. Needless to say that’s a lot of lessons, which can easily become very repetitive and even worse, for those who struggle in that area, they can become a huge source of frustration and resentment.

Our Maths based games days and sessions focus on the skills needed by every pupil to help them improve their basic ability whatever their age, and they have a very ‘cool’ appeal which helps to make Maths more fun.

Literacy Days

Literacy days deliver a focussed and fun learning experience

The ability to communicate effectively is without doubt the most important skill throughout life. We can help those new to the English language and those developing their skills throughout childhood, with more expressive games that primarily serve to boost confidence in class and bring them into the conversation. Reading, writing, speech, vocabulary, spelling and wordplay - we have plenty of games focused on basic communication skills, that can also lead to indepth conversations and investigation.

Our literacy games days are tailored for the age group and environment and provide an engaging way of meeting curriculum goals whilst also leaving you with with the tools, games and experience to continue using the games.

I found the Imagination Gaming Workshop both fun and educational, Nigel managed to engage some of our most vulnerable and least able students in such a way that their confidence in numeracy and literacy flourished, the children enjoyed themselves so much the learning became fluid and spontaneous - Monica, Behaviour Manager, Leeds.

Whether you have a specific topic you would like to inject some fun into, are looking to introduce varied groups to something new, reward the children or get something cool for summer school, we can keep them entertained for days with a wealth of activities and Games.

School Tournaments

A fantastic way to mix pupils across classes and schools, tournaments can introduce games to new schools and seasoned players alike. Host schools can invite teams from their area for a morning of learning and fun gaming, ready for some challenging and exciting competition in the afternoon. Includes trophies and certificates for all and with the option of prizes too. Share the experience and share the cost too!

Workshops

Workshops are individual sessions targeted around a specific theme and focus

Individual Workshops are targeted activities designed to assist schools and other organisations with directly accessible and relevant fun learning experiences. All of our workshops have a specific theme and focus, and can be adapted for the age group and environment. From Zombie Diaries, through to Mad Scientist take a look at some of the experiences we can bring to your group in a 'bite sized' session, complete with fun, 'cool factor' and if appropriate predictable work based outputs.

Teaching your school how to Learn to Play and Play to Learn

While much is gained from having one of our games days, changing culture, perception and behaviours can take time. A games day programme looks to do exactly this over a series of several weeks or months. A games day programme looks to act as an intervention to solve either an individual or number of problems at a location or with a specific group.
