Four Elements is a tactical dexterity game that takes phyiscal gaming to the next level. Players build mighty fortresses using the Elements Fire, Water, Earth & Air.
Here's what the creator of Fours Elements had to say about the game:
1. What does the game involve?
The game is all about Fire, Water, Earth & Air, the ancient Elements. Learning about the strengths and weaknesses of each is crucial to success.
2. What skills can you build/gain from the game?
It is a tactical game about positioning, just as much as it is a dexterity game. Players will soon find themselves improving their flicking skills, but how tactical you take the game is up to you.
Building your fortress in the beginning of the game highly promotes creativity and it is stunning to see how children regularly surpass their parents.
3. What's your favourite tactic or are there any tricks you can teach us?
There are too many to count. Players keep finding new tricks non stop, which is why the game is constantly evolving. My favourite trick is placing Elements standing up, so I can roll them over the other players. Why? Because it is so hard to get it right and I like the challenge.
4. Do you have any funny/heartwarming stories about a game of Four Elements?
The game actually originated ten years ago in the german country side from flicking droughts pieces. The mechanics and tactics behind it fascinated my brother and me so much, that we kept developing it until it became: Four Elements
