Imagination Gaming – Holiday Staff Opportunities

Imagination Gaming – Holiday Staff Opportunities

Imagination Gaming have been successfully delivering activities as part of the Healthy Holidays Programme since 2021.

The Holiday Activities and Food Programme provides support to children in receipt of free school meals through holiday periods.

Research has shown that the school holidays can be pressure points for some families. For some children this can lead to a holiday experience gap, with children from low-income households being:

  • Less likely to access organised out-of-school activities
  • More likely to experience ‘unhealthy holidays’ in terms of nutrition and physical health
  • More likely to experience social isolation

Healthy Holiday Clubs can have a positive impact on children and young people and Imagination Gaming are proud to be part of this.

Our  ‘learn to play, play to learn’ activity programmes are very popular and our vast compendium of tabletop games means that we have something for all ages and abilities.

Due to demand we are looking to recruit additional staff during the school holidays. We delivery in the following areas:

  • Barnsley
  • Derbyshire
  • Calderdale
  • Lincolnshire
  • Sheffield

You will be working with an experienced staff member. With groups of around 15 to 30 children and young people ages 5 to 16 years.

A full drivers licence and a DBS Certificate is essential.

We are looking for individuals that are energetic and enthusiastic. You don’t have to be a gamer as the games are easy to learn and then teach to others. The most important thing is that you can engage with our visitors and bring smiles and laughter to the sessions.

If you are looking for holiday work during Easter, Summer and/or at Christmas please do get in touch.
