Continuing with our board game alphabet this week - the all important letter is B!
How many have you tried?
Opposing sheep herds go head to fluffy head in a strategy game the whole family will love. The goal is to occupy the most pastures with your sheep. Each turn, players split a stack of their sheep and move a portion as far is it can go in a straight line to a new pasture. Watch out for sneaky sheep and plan your moves carefully to fence out your foe! A different playing board is assembled before every game, so Battle Sheep is full of new challenges every time you play.
The object of the game is to study a card for 10 seconds and then answer a question based on the roll of a die. If the question is answered correctly, the card is kept, and the person with the most number of cards after 5 or 10 minutes is the winner!
The collection of BrainBox games is huge! There are so many to choose from in many different themes, so there is most definitely one to suit you!
Line up four in a row on a whole new level in this one of a kind strategy game! Players build their wall to victory with vibrantly colored blue and orange bricks engraved with white X’s and O’s. The first player to align four of their symbol or color in a row wins the game and claims the wall! But watch out... each brick contains both your symbol and colour as well as those of your opponent. So each time you add a new piece, you risk helping your opponent win the game! Brix is a uniquely creative game that is fast to learn but employs a complex strategy that older children and adults will love.
The aim of the game is to try and collect the numbered chips using your bluffing skill (or genuinely telling the truth!) Can you also tell whether your opponents are bluffing? The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner. Points are calculated by looking at the dots on the chips.
In Baby Blues, every player is an employee in a daycare center. You are responsible for five babies, and you will have to do anything that is needed to keep them happy. As soon as they start crying, you won't be able to make them happy again. When a player is faced with five crying babies, the game is over and the other players score points for all non-crying babies. Every baby has a point value that is known only by the owner of the baby!
