Stack them if you can!

A clever game of quick thinking with numbers - race to be the first to stack all your number tiles in sequence.

1. Distribute all the tiles, face down, evenly amongst all players.

2. All players look at their own tiles and when they turn over a "1" place it face up in the middle of the players.

3. Players all play at the same time to stack them into piles of 1 to 10.

The aim is to get rid of all your tiles as quickly as you can. Players race to put 2 on a 1, 3 on a 2 and so on. Stacks complete from 1 to 10.

The winner is the player with 3 tiles or fewer left.

Bounce is a rapid recall memory game where all players have to study a different picture card at the same time.

Play is ‘bounced’ from player to player until all players have answered question 1 of the card they have studied. Those that have answered correctly remain in the game; incorrectly cards must be placed in a pile for the winner of the round to collect. Play as many rounds as you want or until one player has all the cards.

Bounce Bonus is a Spot the Difference game. There are eight differences in each pair of cards. Can you find them?

Grammar, punctuation and spelling: let’s face it, important as they are, these have never been the easiest topics to make fun – until now! Let BrainBox English come to rescue, helping you sort out problems from prepositions, adverbs from apostrophes and synonyms from syllables.

Take a card from the box and turn the timer over. Study the picture card until the 10 second timer runs out. Pass the card to another player and roll the die. You must then answer the appropriate question. (e.g. if you roll a 2, you must answer question 2). The other player reads the question and your answer is checked by looking at the front of the card. If correct, you keep the card. If incorrect, you return the card to the BrainBox and the next player chooses a card! The player with the most cards after 10 minutes’ wins!
