Explore the oceans with this exciting new BrainBox. The undersea world is full of amazing creatures, from clown fish to coral, penguins to polar bears and sharks to sea lions, and this great game lets you meet them all without even getting your feet wet!
The object of the game is to study a card for 10 seconds and then answer a question based on the roll of a die. If the question is answered correctly, the card is kept, and the person with the most cards after 5 or 10 minutes is the winner.

- Improves reading
- Improves observation, memory and recall abilities
- Builds visual perception skills
- Develops attention, concentration and thinking skills
- Assists language skills, as the child listens and follows instructions and talks about the card
One way of adapting the game to suit those of a lower ability – if the game is played with younger players, or those with additional learning requirements, the timer can be turned twice to give them a time advantage when studying their cards. Otherwise, the timer can be taken away all together and the cards can instead be used as a talking point around what is on the card (including both the image and the associated words). In time, this should support the development of memory and visual recollection, but also build familiarity with the written words on the page, thus supporting literacy development. The latter adaptation could also be used to develop oral language skills for second language learners.
